They say "A house is not a home without a pet". Very true.
But until I can grow old enought o decide what pet(s) I want and am capable of taking care of it (them), I have a few lifelike pets :)
Apart from the ones you will see in the video there are the ocassional pallis ( lizards) in the garden, and a variety of insects that I call "Poochi ".
I hear there are snakes and bats that visit the vicinity of our apartment complex, but I haven't seen any of them yet. For now, enjoy the video.

Adventures in the wild
Hello all,
I think we should declare August 2009 "The R month". This is my third post this month and if we are lucky, there might be one more soon!
This post is dedicated to the wonderful trip we had to the beautiful and pristine Bandipur national park. This is one of the project Tiger reserves and apparently there are over 90 Tigers in this park.
We went with Kalpagam thathi, Mahesh Periappa, Smitha Perima, Megha, Deepa athai ( in whose honour we organized this trip - kind of a bachelorette party before she got married and flew to Mumbai!) Thatha, Thathi, Harish chittappa, Amma, appa and yours truly. It was an awesome trip, starting from spotting some wildlife to driving in the rain and ending with dad breaking his leg ( playing Table Tennis of all things!!).
Anyway, enjoy some pictures and a video compilation from this trip.
Also, uploaded are some pictures of my first Rakhi ever.Megha came home and presented me with my first Rakhi :)
And then there is one with me trying to fly using a broom like Harry Potter!! Yay!!!
See you soon :)

My vocabulary
Greetings earthlings!!
It's been a while. We've been busy with weddings and other functions in the family. Hence the delay in connecting with you again.
This video was shot in early June (2 months back) with a small sample of my ever growing vocabulary. I have added many new words to my list since :)I am beginning to realise that there are probably a trillion words still out there.
I can now call Rishabh (me), Harish (chitappa), Karthik(dad), Kanna, Abitha ( my maternal grandmom), Aruna(cousin) etc.. by name. I am yet to master mom's name though.
That's a tough one to crack. Imagine even trying to say something as difficult as DEEPA?!!!!All I can manage is pa pa pa :)Enjoy!
I'll be back shortly with another enjoyable video!!
